Join us for London’s first You're Just My Type meet-up! Connect with fellow Type 1 diabetics in a welcoming space where we can share stories, experiences, and support. Come meet others who truly understand the journey and enjoy an afternoon of community and connection. We can’t wait to meet you!

London Youth Meet Up

Sunday, January 12th, 2025 @ 2-4pm

Gootopia, Wandsworth Southside Shopping Centre Wandsworth High St,London

This exciting event kicks off with a Gootopia Slime Science Show, where kids will explore the wonders of slime through fascinating, hands-on experiments and learn some truly weird slimy facts. The fun continues with an hour-long slime-making workshop, where participants will:

Choose colors, mix-ins, scents, and more to create two custom slimes.
Work together for the ultimate finale—a GIANT slime experience!
Enjoy an activity that’s inclusive for all abilities.

Beyond the gooey fun, this event is a unique opportunity for Type 1 kids and teens—and their parents—to connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships in a supportive community.

After the workshop, we’ll head to a nearby location to continue hanging out. Details will be shared at the event.

The workshop starts promptly at 2:30 so please arrive between 2 and 2:15 in order to have enough time for setup.
